A few things you need to know about this lightsaber please read the following before purchasing the next points are taken from the Force FX faq! Q: I just received my Force Fx and it has no clash sound, or I have to smash it REAL HARD to generate a clash sound. A: This is also normal, the clash sound detectors need to be broken in so to speak.
The more you use the saber the better the clash detection will work, to test to see if they are indeed working smash the hilt against you palm with much force. Q: There is rattling inside the hilt of my Force Fx, it something loose or broken. A: Nothing is loose or wrong with your saber, what you are hearing is the motion detectors inside the hilt. Q: All of a sudden the sound on my force Fx got all staticy is it broken, is there a way to fix.A: No its not broken, and there is a easy fix. Just remove your battery pack, take out the battery's, then put the battery's back in. Now put the battery pack back in and you will see you saber is back to normal. (The staticy sound can be irritating and from experience lighting in houses, radio and WiFi devices can also interfere, no idea why but it's not broken it's just what they do). Q: Is it OK to mix different brand battery's with my Force FX.
There is no quicker way to burn out a LED in you saber then by using different battery brands together. ALWAYS only use the same brand, no matter what. Mixing batters if the WORST thing you can do to your saber almost. (LED lights work perfectly in this lightsaber??
Q I just put duracell batterys in my Yoda Fx and it wont turn on. A: The Yoda Fx will NOT woth with Duracell batteries. As Force FX recommend Duracell with all their other lightsabers). Well done for reading this far, as you can see these lightsabers do not come without their flaws, but static noises and having to hit hard to get the clashing sounds are entirely normal and does not mean the Force fx is broken.
