This is # 2 of only 5 of these EVER produced! The saber itself is an exact replica of the one used in the movie -- but rather that the chrome/silver seen on screen, it's covered in 18K gold plating. Master Replicas had a VERY SMALL number of these produced to be used for special occasions; they were given to VIPs and friends of the company. There are literally only 4 more of these anywhere on this planet. This is an amazingly rare, unique item -- I can't think of an officially licensed Star Wars product with such a low production run.

THERE ARE ONLY 5 OF THESE ANYWHERE! And now, you have a chance to add it to your Star Wars collection! This item has never been displayed or removed from its original packaging.

Because of the rarity of the item, I will describe all of the details (as seen in the photos) as accurately as I can. The first image is of the gold plated saber itself. It has not been opened in many, many years and have never been removed from its case.

You can see that it still has the factory shrink wrap completely intact. The second picture shows what you see once the box top is lifted off.

This is the acrylic display case, still wrapped and never opened. Beneath it, you can see the original Acrylic Cleaning instructions from MR, with the logo at the top.

The third picture again shows the saber. Once you lift of the acrylic display case, there is another piece of foam beneath it. Lift that off, and the saber hilt is exposed. The foam tray holding the saber hilt can also be lifted off -- see picture 4 -- and beneath it is the acrylic display bottom, with the custom lightsaber holders.

Again, as with everything else, you can see that this is still in its factory wrap and has not been removed. Picture 5 is of the black envelope that is included standing up inside the package, featuring the black on black Master Replicas logo. This envelope includes, among other things, some marketing collateral, the Certificate of Authenticity from Master Replicas, and the gold plaque (image 6) which verifies the item as. The plaque, as you can see, is still wrapped in tissue paper and has never been removed from its bag. Finally, the last 3 items are of the packaging. The black package itself has been in storage for many years, and does show some wear.

Particularly the outer wrapper -- with the black on black Master Replicas logo -- and the sides of the box itself show some scuffing. There's also a white scratch on the outside of the wrap. Also, the packing that went between the shipper box and the black package is lost, but the black box will be well wrapped and protected for its journey to its new owner. This is a super rare find, and one that's not likely to come up again any time soon.
