Korbanth Maultress Lightsaber Hilt Darth Maul Asajj Ventress Star Wars Saber

  
This listing is for a Korbanth "Maultress" empty lightsaber hilt. This is the final form taken by Maul's original saber. For most of the Clone Wars, the saber remained in its single-bladed state after Obi-Wan sliced off the other half. The saber was eventually taken by Pre Vizsla, who gave it to Bo-Katan. It then went back to Maul when he took control of Death Watch (and Mandalore itself).

By the time of the Siege of Mandalore, Maul had also obtained the lightsaber of the redeemed Asajj Ventress, who had died in combat against Dooku. Maul combined Ventress' saber with his own, returning it to its original double-bladed state. During his battle with Ahsoka, the two ended up in the rafters high above the city, where both of them were disarmed, their sabers falling down into the city below. Bo-Katan's forces were able to recover Ahsoka's sabers, so they presumably found Maul's as well. But by the time Maul escaped his captivity, he was in deep space, unable to recover it.

For the rest of his life, Maul used a new lightsaber which he built using the sabers of fallen Inquisitors. Most likely, his original saber was kept as a trophy in Bo-Katan's castle. But in addition, they made an extremely limited run of "Maultress" sets, containing both sabers and the linking piece. But this version comes with a metal connector that securely brings the pieces into their final combined state.

These are new and unused. They have some very minor scratches from the manufacturing process, but no notable flaws or damage. The winner will receive the exact item in the photos, so please refer to them for a closer look. Thank you for viewing this listing!
