Here we have a MINT condition example of an SD Studios Luke ROTJ lightsaber replica. This is a direct decendent of the Master Replicas models.

This replica was made by the same US-based machine shop that produced them for MR back in 2002. This is therefore, identical to the US-made MR replicas, with the exception of the control panel. Also, the arrows are cast/painted resin, rather than injected-clear plastic and the activation buttons are machined/painted brass, rather than the injected black plastic used on the MRs. These are machined in 6061 aluminum and are hand polished and assembled. They have the correct brass screws and separate access panel on the control box and are painted exactly like the original prop.

I had the opportunity to handle, measure and photograph the hero filming prop back in 2001, so I pulled extensive reference data off the original. This is EXTREMELY accurate, without all of the weird boogers seen on the original. So it is a tiny bit "idealized" but is still the MOST accurate replica currently available.
